From Shell to Service Hub: Powering Suriname’s Premier Call Center

A leading call center in Suriname leased a new building that required complete technical installations to become operational. The facility was an empty shell, lacking essential systems like plumbing, fire suppression, data networking, access control, electrical infrastructure, and CCTV. With tight deadlines, the challenge was to make the building fully functional quickly. N.V. AMPS was engaged to design and implement the necessary systems. We prioritized the electrical infrastructure, ensuring reliable power supply, lighting, air conditioning, and a backup system for 24/7 operation. A water storage system and backup hydro-pump were installed to support 400-500 employees.

The data network was designed with stable cabling and a cooled server rack to prevent disruptions. We also set up a modern access control system for security. The project was completed on time, and the call center is now fully operational with a secure and reliable infrastructure, improving service delivery and contributing to job creation and economic growth in Suriname.
