Upgrading Hospital Infrastructure for Safer Care
One of the oldest hospitals in Suriname faced frequent malfunctions in its outdated and unsafe operating room electrical system, jeopardizing surgeries. These issues increased the risk of power failures, created unsafe conditions for medical staff, and led to delays or cancellations of procedures, endangering patient health.

We were engaged to assess the problem and implemented a full electrical system upgrade, including replacing the UPS and servicing the generator. The new UPS stabilizes voltage, ensuring uninterrupted surgeries during power outages. With the modernized system, the operating room is now safe and reliable, enhancing both medical operations and patient care.
