Reviving the Mine: High-Voltage Power for a Golden Restart
An old mine needed to be drained to facilitate its redevelopment. We proposed the construction of a 2.1 km, 12 kV high-voltage network to connect a pump installation to the power grid via a transformer, enabling the removal of floodwater from the mine. With the infrastructure in place, operations in the mine could begin, allowing gold production to start.
